The short version of how we bake, deliver and handle problems.
Refunds and cancellations
Everything is baked to order, so we do not offer refunds or returns.
Need to change or cancel an order? Get in touch as soon as you can - we can usually help if we have not started baking yet.
Allergens
Our cookies are baked in a home kitchen that also handles wheat, eggs, dairy, soy and nuts. We cannot guarantee any item is free from traces of these.
Allergen information for each item is listed on its product page. If you are ordering for someone with a serious allergy, please contact us first.
How much notice we need
Everything is baked to order, so we need a little warning.
- · Orders under 4 dozen need 3 days notice.
- · 4 dozen or more needs 14 days notice.
You choose the day you need them at checkout.

Shipping
How it works
We ship with USPS Priority Mail, to Wisconsin addresses only. Shipped orders need at least 1 dozen cookies.
Shipping is charged per box at USPS Priority Mail prices for your ZIP code. Checkout shows your shipping cost and how many boxes are coming before you pay. We do not offer free shipping.
When it ships
We only ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so your order never sits in a post office over a weekend. You choose the ship day at checkout, and it has to allow for the notice we need.
Usually arrives 1–3 business days after it ships. USPS does not guarantee delivery dates, and we cannot control delays once your order is in their hands.
Check your address
Please double-check your address at checkout. We ship to the address you give us, and we cannot refund or reship an order sent to a wrong or incomplete address.
Damaged or lost packages
We photograph every order as it is packed, before it goes to USPS.
If your cookies arrive damaged, email us at hello@zencookieden.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the box and what is inside. If your package never arrives, let us know as soon as you notice. Include your order number either way.
We compare what you send with our packing photos. Any store credit toward a future order is at our sole discretion.
Refunds
Because everything is baked to order, we do not offer refunds on shipped orders - including for damage, loss or delays in transit.
Advertising and cookies
We use the Meta Pixel to see how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and to show our ads to people who have visited this site. It records the pages you view and the items you add to your cart or buy, and Meta may set cookies on this site to do that.
You can turn off ads based on this activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
